Hello! My name is Stephanie Webber and I am the Owner and Lead Wedding Planner for A Daydream Wedding. My wedding planning career was inspired by my own wedding planning experience. Now, you hear a lot of planners say they became a wedding planner because they had so much fun planning their own wedding. But that was not the case for me. I was one of those brides who bypassed getting a planner to save a little money, and it turned out to be a mistake. First, our DJ backed out just a couple hours before the start of our wedding ceremony and we had to call around and find a replacement DJ with only a couple hours notice. Then I was about a half hour late to my own wedding ceremony because I was still setting up the reception room (in my wedding dress)!! And I didn’t have a wedding day timeline, so there was no real flow to the wedding day events. Although everything turned out okay, it could have been so much better if I would have had an experienced planner helping me along the way.
After the wedding, I wanted to make sure no other brides had a wedding experience like I had. I wanted to help make their wedding day so much better than just “okay”. So I decided to become a planner. I received my Certified Wedding Planner certificate in 2013 from the Association of Bridal Consultants in 2013. A Daydream Wedding was established in 2014 and I have helped dozens of clients with their weddings since.
