Today we get the pleasure of sharing one of our favorite weddings from 2018 with you.  If you are an engaged bride-to-be currently looking for venues for your wedding ceremony and/or reception, you are going to love this post.   Today’s couple, Brianna and Brian, chose some of the most breathtaking venues in Sacramento for their wedding ceremony and reception.    We were so excited to receive some photos of their picturesque wedding day to share with you.   We hope you enjoy hearing the story and seeing some of the pictures of their beautiful wedding day.

Our Brianna was a gorgeous bride wearing a white lace trumpet style gown and veil. Her family signed the bottom of her heels, which was such a sweet touch!  Can we just admire these bridal shots for a moment?

Brianna and the bridesmaids took their turn in front of the camera together. Such a beautiful color palette. A rich emerald green with hints of dusty rose and mauve in their flower bouquets. The bridesmaids dresses were all the same emerald green color, but different styles; very trendy!

Brianna and Brian shared their first look photographs under a mature shade tree near the state capitol.   This was the first time the bride and groom saw each other on the wedding day and the moment was filled with much anticipation.   Brianna and Brian started out standing on opposite sides of the tree, back to back, and holding hands.  Then they turned to face each other when they were prompted by the photographer.   All of the footage of the first look was beautiful, but we especially love how the photographer captured the anticipation on the bride and groom’s faces as they waited to turn around and see each other.  Such an intimate and precious moment.

Brianna’s father escorted her down the aisle to meet her groom.  They incorporated the tradition of the father giving away the bride, and it was such a sweet tender moment. The whole room could sense the closeness of the father-daughter bond they share.

The cathedral was a gorgeous venue to hold the ceremony.   We loved the cathedral setting and how immaculately beautiful it was inside.  Our jaws dropped at the scene.  And the vows that were exchanged were just as beautiful.

Outside of the cathedral, they took some amazing photographs. We just can’t get enough of these! What a perfect couple!

The reception was held at the nearby Elk Tower Ballroom and was just as beautiful!  The guests mingled over amazing food, the toasts touched the hearts and souls of everyone in the room, and the new husband and wife’s first dance was perfect! The guests took delight in seeing joy in their faces, as well as the love they have for each other, come out as they danced together.
