Chelsey and Jon started the day at Courtyard D’Oro in Old Sacramento. If you don’t know about Courtyard D’Oro, you should! It a magical-beautiful-picturesque brick courtyard with a garden and fountain that makes a perfect venue for an intimate wedding. It also have a gorgeous grand gate that exits out to Old Sacramento. Their intimate wedding ceremony was officiated by Chelsey’s sister and absolutely perfect. It was held in front of the fountain with the greenery of the garden in the backdrop. Each person that attended the wedding ceremony made the bride and groom’s day feel special and full of love!

After the ceremony, they took some newlywed photos around Old Sacramento and then headed towards the nearby Sacramento Tower Bridge. This was such a wonderful plan as these photos turned out spectacular and SO romantic! What an adventure to have cars whirling passed, while standing on a gorgeous yellow bridge, kissing your soulmate.

Sacramento is full of beautiful green trees. It is actually known as the city of trees! Fun fact! So anywhere they walked around the city, gave them a perfect backdrop for photos.

Second fun fact, Sacramento is home to the first railroad on the west coast! So naturally, this makes for a rustic and memorable photoshoot, full of rich history surrounding them.

Chelsey and Jon then headed over to their reception at Miner’s Leap Winery out in Clarksburg. Time for the party! It was such a perfect reception for this couple. It encompassed who they are as a couple, which was FUN. They provided games such as corn hole, which everyone had to get in on. The decor included mason jars at the bar and chalkboard signs. The centerpieces were wood rounds with votives, vases with wild flowers, and lanterns. The lawn was covered by string lights. It was such a delightful ambiance.

Now lets talk about this dessert table they had….WOW is all we can say. This is what we call a dessert table! There were lots of tiers and layers of different types of dessert.

Around sunset, the bride and groom went over to a field adjacent to Miner’s Leap to get some sunset photos. Look how gorgeous they turned out! We love those sunflowers. Perfect backdrop for a fall wedding.

Because it was an outdoor reception, they provided a lot of cozy blankets in case any of the guests got cold. This is an excellent option if your wedding is supposed to be a bit on the chillier side.

The toasts were given by a handful of wonderful people with wonderful speeches! The bride and groom shared tears and laughter.

As the night went on, everyone sat around the fire pits with blankets and enjoyed eachother’s company. Seems like the perfect night to us!

Chelsey and Jon shared a first dance and then the rest of the guests got down on the dance floor shortly after. This crowd knows how to have a good time!
